Aloha!  The Hula, Arts & Crafts Workshop will be on Thursday the 29th and Friday the 30th.  On Friday from 5pm-9pm at Esther Short Park - Ke Kukui Foundation is hosting the Hapa Haole Hula Competition. Finally, on Saturday the 31st from 11am to 7pm will be the all day festival featuring workshop participants, winners from the competition, and various Hawaiian musical acts and halau hula.

Over 8,000 visitors have swayed to the rhythm as hula dancers, Portland, Taiko, Native Tribal dancers, and Polynesian singers filled the park with the heartbeat of their cultures. Arts, Crafts, and food vendors will round out this two day long outdoor festival which is now considered the third largest annual event at Esther Short Park. Continually nominated Most Outstanding Event by the SW Washington Visitors & Convention Bureau three years in a row. This is a free event.
