Aloha! This year's Ho`ike and Hawaiian Festival has been exended to three days. The Hula, Arts & Crafts Workshop will be on Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th. Featuring Roland Cazimero teaching an advanced guitar workshop and Aunty Vicky and Kanoe Miller teaching hula `Auana. On Friday, from 5pm-9pm Ke Kukui Foundation with PA`I Foundation are hosting the Hapa Haole Hula Competition. Finally, on Saturday the 25th from 11am to 7pm on will be the all day festival featuring workshop participants, winners from the competition and various Hawaiian musical acts and halau hula.  More information on that coming soon.

Over 8,000 visitors have swayed to the rhythm as hula dancers, Portland, Taiko, Native Tribal dancers, and Polynesian singers filled the park with the heartbeat of their cultures. Arts, Crafts, and food vendors will round out this two day long outdoor festival which is now considered the third largest annual event at Esther Short Park. Nominated Outstanding Event by the Clark County Tourism Commission, two years in a row. This is a free event.
